EA Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Celebrates National Nursing Home Week with Week-Long Activities, Events
Baker, W.Va.- EA Hawse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center celebrates National Nursing Home Week May 11th-17th with activities planned each day. Below are the activities for each day, with start times. All events will be at the nursing facility. The media and public are encouraged to attend.
Sunday, May 11th: Mother’s Day Tea Party, 3pm-5pm.
Monday, May 12th: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with House of Delegates member Harold Michael, 2pm.
Tuesday, May 13th: Staff Appreciation Cookout, 11am, Petting Zoo Day by the West Virginia University Research Farm, 2pm.
Wednesday, May 14th: No activities.
Thursday, May 15th: “Pimp My Wheelchair,” staff and residents team up to decorate wheelchairs, 2pm.
Friday, May 16th: Resident Appreciation Cookout, 11:15am, weather permitting.
Saturday, May 17th: Sweet Snacks for a Sweet Staff, all day appreciation of employees.
