Mercer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Celebrates National Nursing Home Week with Week-Long Activities, Events
Bluefield, W.Va.- Mercer Nursing & Rehabilitation Center celebrates National Nursing Home Week May 11th-17th with activities planned each day. Below are the activities for each day, with start times. All events will be at nursing facility. The media and public are encouraged to attend.
Sunday, May 11th: Mother’s Day Luncheon, noon, Pie Social, 3pm.
Monday, May 12th: Hawaiian Pineapple By the Pool, 2pm at the courtyard.
Tuesday, May 13th: Bluefield’s Biggest Banana Split, join us in creating a 10-foot banana split at 2pm in the Dining Hall.
Wednesday, May 14th: Hat Fashion Show, 2pm Dining Room.
Thursday, May 15th: Western Day Hoe Down, 2pm Dining Room
Friday, May 16th: Courtyard Carnival, 2pm at the Courtyard.
Saturday, May 17th: Evening Bingo Marathon, 2pm-Dinner in the Dining Room.
