Charleston, W.Va. - American Medical Facilities Management (AMFM) is pleased to announce Sherry Foltz as the new Executive Director for Wyoming Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (N&RC).
Foltz began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse before graduating with registered nursing degree in 2001. Throughout her 22-year career, Foltz has had multiple roles within skilled nursing centers including the RN Supervisor, Clinical Case Manager, Minimum Data Set (MDS) coordinator and assistant director of nursing.
She was previously employed at Wyoming N&RC for a short time as the Director of Nursing Services before taking a position with Quality Insights as a project Coordinator in Long-Term Care in 2012. Foltz worked closely with nursing homes throughout West Virginia focusing on quality measures, the Five-Star Rating system and Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI).
“I missed the nursing home environment and was really excited to return to Wyoming in June of 2016,” said Foltz. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in November from Chamberlain School of Nursing, and was named the DNS again in March of 2017 before becoming the Executive Director in August.
